Still reeling
After the election, I’ve realized, I am completely out of touch with the popular will in America.
Not only did George W. Bush get re-elected, after getting 1124 of “his” (I use the term loosely) own troops slaughtered and thousands of Iraqi civilians killed, but the ban on gay marriage bills passed in all 11 states that ran them.
I can’t comprehend the level of hatred for others, or ignorance of state vs. church issues, required to vote “yes” on those ballots.
I guess that’s why I’m not running for any office. I’d surely lose on that alone.
I wonder if anyone has done an education vs. voting yes or no on those measures chart.
