US Military Provides Details of Koran Mishandling at The Gulag (heh..)
In one incident, the report says a ventilation system carried a soldier’s urine into a prisoner’s cell, which got on the prisoner and his Koran. The report says that incident was accidental, but the soldier was removed from his post.
This looks like it should be a much juicier (I’m very sorry) story about Koran abuse than the retracted “flushed a Koran down the toilet” story from Newsweek. So, where are the riots? Where’s the outrage over this one? Could it be that our government overreacted blaming Newsweek for deaths, could it be possible that the riots were due to far more than the publication of their article? Hmmm…
