Yeah, I couldn't find anything online or in the manual, so I went in the game and clicked around. I got a yellow circle, and I ordered a Knight. He arrived and moved to the circle.

I tried it again in another game.

I haven't done anything in the options, though.

Thanks sonny. Have you actually tried it out? I saw it in the tips, but I still never figured it out. Turned right click in options both on and off, and either way, Shift-RightClick doesn't seem to rally anything for me.

Actually, figured it out. Grandma, what you do is select the city (click on the city name) and then shift-right-click something on the map. You'll see a yellow circle. They'll rally to that.

You can select more than one city, I bet you can set rally points for them all that way.

Yeah, World Builder is a bit crazy for it.

I'm afraid I'm going to be rubbing myself on this one. I have no idea how to set rally points. I guess it was supposed to be possible, but I haven't seen it in the manual or on the web.

Dear dpk,

You are a marked genius. However, doing stuff within World Builder is like being hungry in a candy store, and I've got diabetes. It kills me!

Do you know how to set rally points? Because, I need your genius to rub me off... err, rub off on me.

It looks like the only place you can do that is within World Builder. Choose Enter World Builder from the main menu while in a game and then use the erase option. Then exit out of that and you're done.

I have no idea what sort of reprecussions this has on gameplay.

In Civ3, you could *easily* overtake another city with culture. I haven't been able to do it in Civ4 yet. Also, when you take over a city by force, you don't automatically get a large border. You're stuck with just the one tile the city is on until the revolt is over. Taking over cities is just plain harder in this game, which is nice, I think.

I heard complaints about Civ3 that the easy setting was too easy and the second easiest setting was brutally hard. I hope this one's better. *sigh* I guess i better pony up. I did love Civ2...
