Observations, intoxicated

  • $20 goes a long ways at Gameworks, I think. I spent hours wandering around, playing the odd game here and there, and only used half my card.
  • Not all racing game steering wheels are centered — enjoy the struggle!
  • Air hockey can be a very entertaining ‘spectator sport’ with the right players — bouncy, bouncy.
  • The attractive blonde bartender at GW will keep pouring you fresh beers, and you don’t even have to ask.
  • The Fox Sports Grill’s bar has several plasma screens and one front-projection screen TV. You can actually watch 5 commercials simultaneously!
  • Gameworks is more of a “date” spot, so there are few single women. Fox Sports Grill (or whatever it is actually called) has many single women, but they roam in packs in order to intimidate (I assume). They are nice to look at, though.
  • Downtown Seattle has a relatively small “core” of “late-night” (6pm+) entertainment venues. I assume the real action is in Pioneer Square and on Broadway, but those areas are also kind of small. The rest of the city is dead at night (old observation.)

Oh yeah. There’s probably some stuff going on there, too. Heh. I can’t say I’ve been everywhere in Seattle at night.

Belltown, Queen Anne? Capitol Hill is usually pretty active.
