Yeah, Seattle's got a lot of them, and they're pretty neat. Des Moines is a significantly smaller town. Many (most?) or our city parks are closed "due to budget cuts", so says the signs. Heh.

I haven't decided what veggies and fruits I'll plant, if any. I'm particularly lazy, so I'd probably end up with a lot of produce rotting on the vine, heh. If we had a community garden, I think I'd totally participate. I don't know any of my neighbors, they just think of me as "that crazy guy that digs holes".

Rockin'. The missus wants to redo the whole front yard with native grasses and plants Some Day.

In the meantime, we're going to head out to the community garden to plant tomatoes as soon as we finish our toast.
